Krewe of Nautilus Cleans Up Hillsborough River

For our delayed (due to rain on the originally scheduled date) contribution to National Oceans Day, YMKN members took to the Hillsborough River on June 22nd for a trash pick-up & river barhop.  There is a load of trash on the Hillsborough River, in the water but also, especially, on the shore.  In the future, we will adjust events to accommodate collecting the large amounts of trash along the river shore lines....

2019 Gasparilla Children’s Parade – All About the Kids

Ye Mystic Krewe of the Nautilus was extremely happy to host children from the 1Voice Foundation, the Tampa Foundation that provides full family support for families that have children with pediatric cancer, as well as one of our military families from MacDill AFB and our own kids, on our float for the 2019 Gasparilla Extravaganza and Children’s Parade.  It was a perfectly beautiful day for the parade.   The crowds were excited and so were all of our kids.  What a fun day!!...

YMKN at 4th Annual Trunk Slammers Invitational

What a blast YMKN had supporting the 4th Annual Trunk Slammers Invitational to benefit the 1Voice Foundation, our primary charity.?? The event put on by WHAT THE BUC REALLY MATTERS included??4-person scrambles, lunch pre-tourney and an awards reception with dinner following the fun on the course. Fun on the course included long drive contest, closest to the pin, a trick shot artist, a pneumatic golf gun hole, drink stations every four holes, amazing raffle packages and??the soon-to-be-famous costume contest.         YMKN had two teams participating in the event as golfers and numerous volunteers supporting the event.?? Our krewe sponsored a hole featuring an interesting challenge, jello shooters, and a choice of shots for the challenge winners.?? It’s All About the Kids!!

It was a terrifically fun day with Ye Mystic Krewe of the Nautilus at the 2018 Gasparilla Children’s Extravaganza Parade.?? YMKN had 1Voice children, military families, and our own krewe children join us for fun activities and bead throwing.?? The weather was perfect – not too hot, not to cold.?? Overall, it was a wonderful day. Pre-parade fun included food, crafts, games, and face painting. And then the parade rolled!
