Ahoy Nauti-Mates!

Mark your calendars for an exciting event to help our 1Voice family. Bring your paint brushes, rollers, hoes and gardening tools for our first 1 Voice Campus Cleanup Day. Ye Mystic Krewe of the Nautilus will be showing off our painting and landscaping skills and when we are done, we can cool off in the swimming pool and enjoy a BBQ and adult beverages.

Details:

We will be abiding by the social distancing guidelines set out by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The CAUSE, The CARE, The CURE.  The 1Voice Foundation supports children with cancer and their families by connecting them with financial, emotional and educational CARE while funding research for tomorrow’s CURE.

We will meet in the parking lot of the campus at 11:00. The plan is to change the exterior paint color of the yellow buildings. The buildings that are planned for painting will be pressure washed/prepped ahead of time. Supplies will be provided, including paint, brushes, rollers, drop cloths, and tape but if anyone has spare supplies please bring. Please bring hedge trimmers to trim bushes if you have.

 

Volunteer hours: 6

 

Once we are finished, we can enjoy the swimming pool, BBQ grill and adult beverages. Please BYOB (bring your own beef) for the grill, beverages and a side dish to share. Krewe members that can’t attend the cleanup are welcome to join us.

Ye Mystic Krewe of the Nautilus is a 501c3 organization dedicated to having fun while promoting philanthropy, environmental awareness and conservation of our beautiful Tampa Bay Area.  We do this through participation in the Gasparilla parades and related events, as well as a variety of hands-on activities with our charitable partners. 

Our mission is to promote Florida environmental awareness and conservation through friendly partnerships, education, charity sponsorship and community service. We volunteer and participate in various clean-up and conservation projects in the Tampa Bay area.  We also raise funds for the 1 Voice Foundation in order to enhance current programs for children & families fighting pediatric cancer.
