Join your fellow Nauti-Mates for our first float prep day of the season on 11/19, starting at 10am. 

Note: This is the same day/time as the Gandy Beach cleanup, so make sure you aren't signed up for both :)

Most of the work will be cleaning - the entire float is super dusty from sitting in storage.  We need all hands on deck at the start of the day to empty out the float of bead bags, gasoline cannisters, bar supplies, etc. so that stuff doesn't get soaked when we come through with the power washers.

Volunteers who arrive by 10:15 am (to help with emptying out the float) and stay until we're done will be credited a minimum of 3 hours volunteer time, even if we finish in less (which is likely).  Anyone arriving after 10:15 will be credited based on the time you arrive. 

***Please make sure to sign in/out to ensure you are credited the correct number of volunteer hours - it's difficult to keep track of everyone otherwise.*** 

Cleaning supplies will be provided, but you may want to bring your own rubber gloves.  We could also use 1-2 additional power washers, hoses and extension cords.

****This is also a good opportunity to grab your bead bags left on the float from last season.  We will be removing all bags from the float, and they likely won't be put back if the storage areas are still wet.  Any bead bags not picked up by the time we're done may be donated to 1Voice for the Children's Parade!!!****
