Join us for the long-awaited return of a YMKN member favorite - our annual service day at Big Cat Rescue!

For those who haven't done this event in past years, we are usually tasked with cleaning up or preparing a new habitat.  That involves a lot of landscaping activites - brush cutting, fence repair, leaf raking, etc., so wear clothes you are OK getting dirty and closed-toe shoes (hiking boots are even better if you  have them).

This event is capped at 10 participants per Big Cat Rescue's group policy.

This will be our first time back since the facility was closed to visitors in the aftermath of the Tiger King controversy and COVID, so there are some new rules for everyone to be aware of.

• All members must provide proof of COVID vaccination.  
• Bring a mask - if you are working within 6 feet of a cat, you'll need to wear it.
• All members must be at least 18 years of age
• All members must sign a hold harmless release form before arriving on property, and provide proof of ID on arrival.  Click here to e-sign the waiver.
• All members must always stay with their group while on property and the group must always be supervised by a Big Cat Volunteer.  If for any reason a member needs to leave early, they will be escorted back to the parking lot by a BCR volunteer
