Community Clean-Up Day at Rotary’s Camp Florida

Rotary’s Camp Florida, a barrier-free special needs facility, sustained significant damage during Hurricane Milton, and we need your help to clean up! Over 30 trees are down or need removal, and water intrusion has damaged the Arts Building. This camp is home to numerous programs, including Faces of Courage Cancer Camps, LUNA Latina Cancer Camps, and the 1Voice Foundation’s school for children undergoing cancer treatment and their numerous support programs which is housed on the Campus. Your help is crucial to ensure these vital programs can continue.

Date: Saturday, October 26, 2024

⏰ Start Time: 8:30 AM

Location: Rotary’s Camp Florida, 1915 Camp Florida Road, Brandon, FL

We’re calling on the community to pitch in! We need 200 volunteers for this cleanup effort. Students can earn volunteer hours!

What We Need:

Rakes, clippers, shovels, chain saws, gas, gloves, wheelbarrows, brooms

Volunteers to help run check-in at 8:00 AM

Everyone must wear closed-toed shoes.

No volunteers under 16 years old allowed on-site.

Important Information:


Consent Releases must be signed at check-in.

We are also seeking a company to donate debris removal services and restaurants willing to donate lunch for our hardworking volunteers.

About us

Ye Mystic Krewe of the Nautilus is a 501c3 organization dedicated to having fun while promoting philanthropy, environmental awareness and conservation of our beautiful Tampa Bay Area.  We do this through participation in the Gasparilla parades and related events, as well as a variety of hands-on activities with our charitable partners. 

Our mission is to promote Florida environmental awareness and conservation through friendly partnerships, education, charity sponsorship and community service. We volunteer and participate in various clean-up and conservation projects in the Tampa Bay area.  We also raise funds for the 1 Voice Foundation in order to enhance current programs for children & families fighting pediatric cancer.
