Join Stewards of Our Urban Lakes (SOUL) in partnership with Keep Pinellas Beautiful (KPB) for a rewarding morning of community improvement at Crescent Lake. Volunteers will assist with a variety of tasks at this site,  including lake debris removal, invasive vegetation removal, native plant installation, and water sample collection. We look forward to working with you to restore this local habitat!

WHERE TO MEET: We'll meet up at our storage unit in the TASCO Building parking lot at Crescent Lake Park - 1320 5th Street North St. Petersburg, FL 33701.

TIME: This event will start at 9:00 am. Please try to arrive early so that we're ready to get to work at 9!

WHAT TO WEAR: Please wear closed toed shoes such as boots or sneakers and clothing you don't mind getting dirty. We recommend bringing a hat, sunglasses, and refillable water bottle.

WHAT TO EXPECT: All supplies will be provided including gloves, safety vests, waders, trash bags, pickers, sunscreen, bug spray and hand sanitizer. A water refill station will be available.

About us

Ye Mystic Krewe of the Nautilus is a 501c3 organization dedicated to having fun while promoting philanthropy, environmental awareness and conservation of our beautiful Tampa Bay Area.  We do this through participation in the Gasparilla parades and related events, as well as a variety of hands-on activities with our charitable partners. 

Our mission is to promote Florida environmental awareness and conservation through friendly partnerships, education, charity sponsorship and community service. We volunteer and participate in various clean-up and conservation projects in the Tampa Bay area.  We also raise funds for the 1 Voice Foundation in order to enhance current programs for children & families fighting pediatric cancer.
