Planning for Parade Day

• Don't forget your re-usable cup!!!!  We have a few extras under the bar for emergencies, but definitely not enough for everyone and no single-use plastic cups.
• Wristbands - Wristbands will be distributed at the bead drop off event  from 5:30 - 7:30 pm the night befor the parade.  If you can't make it to the event, please submit our e-signature wristband pickup form to have someone else pick up your wristband or to request it be mailed to you.
• Parade Kick-Off: The parade kicks off at 2pm, but everyone should plan to arrive no later than 1pm.  We will run a roundtrip bus to/from the after party location.  Book your seat here.  If that doesn't work for you and you only want a ride to staging, check out the IKC Facebook group - There are several Krewes who run a bus loop to staging for around $20/seat and post availability on the page.  The two most popular are: 
• • Krewe of St. Florian runs a one-way bus from the Fire Museum 
  • Egypt Shriners run a roundtrip bus from/to their event hall on Washington St.

Parade Position: TBD.  The float will be parked on Bayshore between TBD and TBD.

Bus Transportation: A one-way bus is available (55 seats available) and will take riders from disbanding to the after-party.  Click here to purchase a seat.  Note - the bus fills up every year, so don't wait until the last minute to purchase.  Any seats not sold by 1/15 will be offered to other Krewes.

Lunch: Lunch will be provided at no charge.  Please indicate when you RSVP if you require a vegetarian meal.

Snacks: A variety of healthy snacks (protein bars, etc) will be available.  We'll also have a tray of sandwich sliders for later in the day (on those amazingly alcohol-absorbing King's Hawaiian rolls :)
