Ye Mystic Krewe of the Nautilus gathered at Bernini’s Restaurant in Ybor for their 13th Annual Nauti Ball. Drinking martinis and sangria, eating filet mignon, chicken marsala, and salmon, a great time was had by all.
For the second year in a row, volunteers from Ye Mystic Krewe of the Nautilus offered their services to the Center for Great Apes. The Center is building a new night house to expand the number of apes they can house. YMKN members got down to filing the metal enclosure pieces that will be used to create the new chutes and dome that will be attached to the new night house.

Cure on Wheels and Tampa Bay Watch partnered to present the CURE THE BAY CHALLENGE offering 3 different cycling routes in the beautiful environs of Fort Desoto, Tierra Verde, and the Sunshine Skyway trail. Ye Mystic Krewe of the Nautilus team members, including Mike Dunham, Deena Dunham, Mike Pastore and Carol Conn, joined the event, riding the seven mile cycle course.
With every mile pedaled, Cure on Wheels brings researchers closer to finding cures for various types of cancer that affect millions of people each year, and in the process helps families and children cope with a potentially debilitating diagnosis. Tampa Bay Watch is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the protection and restoration of the Tampa Bay estuary through scientific and educational programs.
The participating Nautilus Krewe members enjoyed the day of healthy exercise, then chillin’ at the water’s edge listening to the Black Honkeys.
