Submission of the Ye Mystic Krewe of the Nautilus (aka "YMKN" or "Krewe") Introductory Membership Application confirms agreement with the following statements:

• I understand that my membership, if approved, includes the following:
• Admission to two parades during the membership effective period.  The membership effective period begins on the application approval date and terminates on the June 30th immediately following the application approval date.  
• Tier 1 memberships include admission to the Gasparilla Parade of Pirates (Day) Parade, and either the Knights of Sant' Yago Knight Parade or the Rough Riders St. Patrick's Day Parade.  
• Tier 2 memberships include admission to the Knights of Sant' Yago Knight Parade and the Rough Riders St. Patrick's Day Parade.
• Admission to all public and members-only social and volunteer events.  
• I understand that my membership application is subject to YMKN board approval and will not be considered unless I am sponsored by a current member of YMKN.  In the event my membership application is not approved, the membership fee paid will be refunded (less any payment processing fees).
• I understand that my membership does not include voting rights and is not renewable.  
• I understand that an application for full membership must be submitted if I wish to retain my YMKN membership after the first parade season.  
• I understand that while two parades are included in this membership, cancellation of a parade by the parade organizers or non-participation in one or both parades does not constitute grounds for full or partial reimbursement of membership fees.  In the event of a parade cancellation, YMKN will substitute another parade if possible.  
• I agree  to abide by all YMKN Guidelines and Policies, which will be provided to me upon approval of this application.  
• I will complete and return all required waivers within 10 days of application approval, or at least one week prior to my first parade (whichever comes sooner).
• I absolve and release Ye Mystic Krewe of the Nautilus (YMKN) from any and all liability in the event I am injured during any parade, meeting, social or volunteer event, or other function.  I am solely responsible for my actions at any Krewe-sponsored or Krewe-related function and will not hold Ye Mystic Krewe of the Nautilus responsible for harm to my person or possessions.
