The organizers of the Gasparilla Distance Classic Association are looking for volunteers for the ABC Action News Fitness Expo on February 24 and 25, 2023.

Please see signup information below - RSVPing to this event does not get you a spot.

Karine can't make the event.  If you go, please send her a pic of you at the event wearing your volunteer t-shirt.  Everyone who does will get 6 hours.

  • The minimum age to volunteer is 16 years of age. Exceptions are made depending on the situation.
  • The shifts are 5 1/2 hours in length.
  • Volunteers would be responsible for distributing race numbers or t-shirts.
  • If we provide 15+ volunteers, our Krewe will receive a $750.00 donation. 

Available volunteer shifts:

  • Friday, February 24, 9:30AM to 3:00PM
  • Friday, February 24, 2:30PM to 8:00PM
  • Saturday, February 25, 5:30AM to 11:00AM

About us

Ye Mystic Krewe of the Nautilus is a 501c3 organization dedicated to having fun while promoting philanthropy, environmental awareness and conservation of our beautiful Tampa Bay Area.  We do this through participation in the Gasparilla parades and related events, as well as a variety of hands-on activities with our charitable partners. 

Our mission is to promote Florida environmental awareness and conservation through friendly partnerships, education, charity sponsorship and community service. We volunteer and participate in various clean-up and conservation projects in the Tampa Bay area.  We also raise funds for the 1 Voice Foundation in order to enhance current programs for children & families fighting pediatric cancer.
