Staging: Gulf High School parking lot (5085 Madison St, New Port Richey, FL 34652). 

The float is due to arrive at 3:30 (part of Wave B); Staging opens at 4pm.  Please note that anyone entering the staging lot with bags, coolers, etc. - those items are subject to search.

Disbanding: Near the intersection of Rt 19 and South Rd (near the Fran Haasch law group building).

Guest Policy:

  • Member children are welcome to attend at no cost. 
  • Adult guests must be sponsored by a current member and pay a $50 fee.  Guest must wear holiday-themed attire (no Santa suits allowed as per parade organizer).  The adult guest list will be capped at 20 people.

Member Costuming:

Please remember that this is a family-friendly parade with lots of kids in attendance.  Have fun with the costuming (guidelines below) but keep it appropriate.

  • Men: Standard black pants and boots, but you may substitute a red or green shirt in place of the standard white shirt and/or a holiday-themed vest.  Men are encouraged to wear their krewe patch on their vest.  You can order a krewe patch on the Webstore under Costuming and Name Tags
  • Ladies: Standard costume gold skirt and black boots, but you may substitute a green, red or holiday-themed blouse in place of the standard black or white blouse.  Corsets are optional but should be red, green or holliday-patterned if worn.
  • As with any night parade, you are welcome to add lights, blinky items, etc. to  your costume.

Parking:

Recommended parking locations from the parade organizers

Option 1 – All Ways Center (Post-Parade Pickup)

6014 US Highway 19, New Port Richey, FL 34652
Park a vehicle here before the parade, then walk back via the US Hwy 19 sidewalk after the event.

Option 2 – Parking Lot D (Participant Parking)

Located at Grand Blvd & Marine Parkway.
Access is only from US Hwy 19 → Marine Parkway (eastbound) or from Grand Blvd → Marine Parkway.
Ideal lot for participants with coolers, bead bags, or supplies.
This lot is secured; participants will remain there until cleared by law enforcement.

Food & Drink: 

This is a family-friendly parade, so no alcoholic beverages will be served.  We'll have plenty of water and soda on hand, as well as some snack food / sliders.

Ye Mystic Krewe of the Nautilus is a 501c3 organization dedicated to having fun while promoting philanthropy, environmental awareness and conservation of our beautiful Tampa Bay Area.  We do this through participation in the Gasparilla parades and related events, as well as a variety of hands-on activities with our charitable partners. 

Our mission is to promote Florida environmental awareness and conservation through friendly partnerships, education, charity sponsorship and community service. We volunteer and participate in various clean-up and conservation projects in the Tampa Bay area.  We also raise funds for the 1 Voice Foundation in order to enhance current programs for children & families fighting pediatric cancer.
